Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnels

Morning
7:30: Start the trip for exploring the War Remnants Museum.
9:00: Continue visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975.
10:00: Central Post Office & Notre Dame Catheral . After visiting the City Hall, take a break-time at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sales.
12:00: Have lunch at the restaurant
Afternoon
12:30: We will then depart for the Cu chi tunnels ( 2 hours )
1:30: On the way to go there , we will stop at Lacquer shop for 30 minutes shopping and relax.
Then contine to Cu chi tunnels . Cu Chi which is Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.
3:00 : Arrive at cu chi tunnel , before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.
Crawl into the narrow passageways and experience the emotional weight of history.
Witness the traps and weapons that were used during wartime.
Afterwards, enjoy some tea and cassava – the typical food of guerrilla fighters during the war – or try shooting an AK-47 (optional, not included in the tour price).
4:30 : Return to HCMC.
6:30: Arrive HCMC. End Tour
